Finally, I've made a time to work on my bookmark collection. Together with a few friends, I’m working on the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) registration of the organization we are starting – Bookmark Collectors of the Philippines, Inc. The thrust of the group doesn’t only focuses on collecting bookmarks per se, but actually more on cultivating the love for reading and the value of education among young Filipinos. Generally, the group commits to battle against illiteracy.
We are still in the process of putting everything together, from funding sources to searching for the right contacts in the specific sector we want to cover as the group starts.
